Finally, the sun is out and summer is just around the corner so if you fancy a perkier bottom to fit in your shorts or bikini, why not join in with our squat challenge. Whether you do bodyweight squats, or add some weight with dumbbells, barbell or a medicine ball, you’re guaranteed a firmer butt at the end of June!
Remember to keep good form: feet flat on the floor, slightly wider than hip distance apart, back upright as you sit back into the squat, aiming to get thighs parallel with the floor. Push through your heels, keep your knees out (don’t let them drop inwards) and don’t let them come further forward than your toes. Squeeze your glutes as you stand back up! Try to do the prescribed number of squats in one go, or with as few breaks as possible. Let us know how you’re getting on – Happy squatting!
