Tomorrow sees the start of Lent, when it is tradition for observers to give up one of their vices or bad habits such as eating chocolate or perhaps drinking alcohol. This Lent, by all means give up sweets and chocolate for 40 days, but how about making a healthy food swap like eating more fruit and veg as well, or drinking more water? Or better still, make a healthy swap, and commit to getting more active for 40 days! Join us in our Lent challenge to get ‘fitinforty’ and take a step towards a fitter and healthier lifestyle.
Getting more active could be something as simple as a 20 minute walk/jog each day, or now that the evenings are getting lighter, a 20 minute chase around the park with the kids and the dog after school! We’ll be posting some short home workouts for you to try too. Come on, give it a go and see how much better you feel in six weeks time!
