Welcome to the second of our JDV Tabata workouts! This is a high intensity, metabolism-boosting 8 minute workout which you can enjoy along with us! No equipment necessary, just some water and enthusiasm!
Tabata training follows a specific protocol of 20 seconds maximal exercise with 10 seconds rest, repeated for four minutes at a time. Here, we include two rounds so you get a full 8 minute workout. It’s an amazingly effective way of improving fitness, increasing your heart rate and your metabolism during and after the workout.
Before you start the video, make sure you warm up your muscles and gradually increase your heart rate with several minutes of brisk marching, jogging on the spot, star jumps; anything that gets you moving and increases your breathing and heart rate.
